Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda is a fun place with restaurants, specialty shops and boutiques. This little town in Charlotte County is where Hurricane Charley made landfall in 2004. You can read about that in a previous post In Which I Explore Dean Park.
We met with friends for lunch and a little shopping. We bought seahorse salt and pepper shakers for a family member. We had been searching for a set for over two years.

After lunch at the Oyster Bar Restaurant, we spent some time at the Military Heritage and Aviation Museum. Thank you Veterans!

WWII Era Model of a Japanese House
I saw a wood model of a WW II Japanese house that was just my size!
We browsed for awhile in the unique shops and enjoyed our afternoon at Fisherman's Villiage.
